Highway Design Lead

Our client is seeking an experienced Highway Design Lead to join their team based in Leicester.

Responsibilities:

Work independently and proactively on projects, making sure that they are delivered to the relevant standards, on time and in budget.

Leading small design teams and performing project management duties that align with our Quality Assurance protocol. These duties may include reporting on project progress, project risk and project finance.

Take individual responsibility for projects, manage them, and be the main point of contact.

Instruct, supervise and mentor junior staff as well as supporting their professional development.

Skills:

Section 278 and S38 designs, Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, DMRB and MfS (minimum). Section 104 designs, MicroDrainage, KeySigns, KeyLines, external works / plot design (desirable)

Qualifications:

HNC Civil Engineering (minimum)
