Job Title:         Senior or Principal Ecologist
Location:         Cardiff

An award winning multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy based in Wales.  The company offers a range of services including: landscape architecture, assessment, design and strategies; ecology surveys and mitigation; environmental planning, coordination and impact assessment; natural resources management; landscape heritage; arboriculture; and data analysis.  

Currently recruiting either a Senior or Principal Ecologist to join their busy practice located in the vibrant centre of Cardiff. 

The team has a varied and interesting portfolio of major highway, public realm, schools, hospitals, green infrastructure, renewable energy, rural land management, wildlife conservation and development projects in both the public and private sectors. 

Current workload includes a wide range of ecology jobs throughout Wales, SW England and West Midlands. The work covers field surveys for: bat, lapwing, dormouse, amphibians and reptiles; invertebrates; botanical surveys; Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, biodiversity reports and site clearance supervision. 

They are looking for Licensed Ecologists, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, who are members of CIEEM, with experience of project management and working within complex multi-disciplinary project teams. 

The successful candidate will be taken on with a view to eventually joining the company's Management Team.
