(PM255) Associate – Civil Infrastructure

POSITION:       Associate  – Civil Infrastructure (Infrastructure)
LOCATION:      Bath

Are you a Civil Infrastructure Engineer looking to grow your expertise on projects across the world? Our client is looking to recruit an Associate Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their Infrastructure Group.  The role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

Working as part of the UK Infrastructure Group you will work on a diverse range of infrastructure projects in the UK and across the world from city-scale masterplanning through to campus and building scale development infrastructure, offering an integrated multi-disciplinary service throughout the whole project life cycle, from planning through to design and implementation.

This role grade sits above Senior Engineer and below Associate Director.

Key Duties:
  • Undertaking civil infrastructure design and master planning, from project inception through to construction. Work typically includes the design of drainage, earthworks, public realm, highways, pressurised water networks and other utility co-ordination.
  • Plan project resources and finances and monitor job financial performance.
  • Manage the delivery of single and/or multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities
  • Managing and contributing to the delivery of BIM models and CAD documentation of designs, preparing technical reports, specification and schedules.
  • Preparing material to present to clients; engaging with design partners at external workshops.
  • Being a Mentor and assisting Technicians and Graduate Engineers, as well as knowledge sharing with the wider group, and contributing to the planning of team workload
Your Skills & Experience:
  • A technical background in civil infrastructure design, and experience in working on multi- disciplinary projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and a willingness to represent the company at appropriate meetings.
  • Excellent IT skills, sufficient in Microsoft suite products as well as proficiency in AutoCAD, Civils 3D and MicroDrainage.
A relevant degree qualification, and ideally a chartered member of a relevant institution.
