Our Client, a multi-disciplinary transport consultancy that has worked on some of the most iconic and important transportation projects in the world, is seeking an Associate Transport Planner to join and help grow their Berkshire office

Working closely with the Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in winning work, developing and growing their Transport Planning offering.  He/ she will also help to deliver a wide range of project work for public sector clients as well as support the established Development Planning team in London and surrounding conurbations.

This role would suit an individual who has proven experience in the technical delivery and management of large scale projects and who is looking for the next step in their career.

Skills / experience required for the role include:

• Transport policy and strategy
• Stakeholder engagement
• Project management including client liaison, financial control
• Monitoring and evaluation
• Public Consultation
• Business development

Candidates should have the following

• Degree qualified in a relevant subject (or equivalent)
• Membership of a professional body such as the IHT, TPS or CILT.
• Experience in the technical delivery and management of large Transport Planning projects.
• Previous experience of business development and growing teams as well as experience of line management / mentoring.
