Overview

We help on projects from the initial site buying stages by offering initial access advice and designing preliminary site access junctions, through to the application stage by producing Transport Statements / Assessments, Travel Plans and preliminary highway design, and then through to the post application stage by helping discharge conditions and S106 obligations.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong experience of working on a diverse portfolio of transport projects and should be able to assume responsibility for the preparation of transport reports, drawings and technical notes. At this grade the team member should have a rounded skill set but be able to showcase developing expertise in a specific field of transport and development planning.

The individual should be able to demonstrate the following at this level:

• Integrity in all aspects of work life
• Project Management responsibilities for small and medium projects and some more complex projects (with support)
• Exposure and experience in complex matters such as Appeals, EiPs, Strategies
• Expertise in a particular field and the ability to train/advise others regarding this
• Line management responsibilities of junior staff members
• The ability to review and constructively evaluate others' work
• Business-related responsibilities such as training, recruitment, marketing
• Direct client liaison for the majority of projects
• Manage own workload and others and communicate any issues effectively; and
• Undertaking professional development.
• Project Management of a range of project types and deliverables, including:Travel Plans; Input to Environmental Statements; Construction Traffic Management Plans; Delivery & Servicing Plans; and other key documents
