Job Summary:

Our client, a well-respected development planning consultancy, is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Associate Development Planner to join their London team.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

The team has a significant forward workload, which includes a range of projects including proposed commercial, industrial and residential developments.
Duties will include providing advice on a range of technical issues associated with the preparation of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and post-planning negotiations. 

Qualifications / Experience:

You will have a degree, ideally in Civil Engineering or equivalent numerate discipline and have solid hands-on post graduate experience (min 8 years). 
Hands-on approach to project work and enthusiastic and proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships.
Experience in the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans (both work place and residential) taking account of current and emerging national and regional transport policies.

• Experience in project management and successful delivery of multiple projects
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels both internally and externally, with interest in developing Client relationships.
• Demonstrable track record of business development would be desirable but not essential.
