Seeking an experienced, motivated, self-starting, problem-solver and collaborative professional to fill an Infrastructure Transactions Principal Consultant position. This person will be working in an Infrastructure and Asset Advisory team supporting a world-leading transactions advisory offering.
This person will be an important member of the team, responsible for contributing to winning, and delivering commissions from the international community of investors, lenders, grantors, operating companies and project developers conducting transactions in the transport sector.
The Infrastructure and Asset Advisory unit brings together a mix of international experts from all industries.
The Infrastructure Transactions Principal Consultant will:
- Help build a vibrant pipeline of work through active management of client relationships.
- Support the Infrastructure Transactions practice via client engagement and proposal development.
- Work on projects as a Project Manager, ensuring that best practice techniques are applied consistently and full integration with project teams.
The Infrastructure Transactions Principal Consultant will work across projects in the fields of Demand and Revenue, Commercial Due Diligence, and Technical Due Diligence and provide wider support to the business for a wide range of projects and clients.
The ideal candidate for this role has:
- Proven ability to deliver work (as Project Manager) in Demand and Revenue and Commercial Due Diligence to support clients undertaking transactions in at least two of the following sectors: Roads/Highways, Ports/Maritime, European Rail/Rolling Stock, Urban Transit (light rail/tram), Bus, EV
- Non-transport sectors such as Energy, Data, Social would be a bonus but not essential.
- The ability to work autonomously yet in collaboration with colleagues and clients
Requirements
The preferred candidate for this role will possess some or all of the following attributes:
- Expert knowledge of Demand & Revenue and / or Commercial Due Diligence
- Ability to identify trends and develop change strategies.
- Ability to overcome obstacles and make difficult decisions.
- Ability to shape the technical offer to target growth markets.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant experience in project management, and comfortable with managing a range of large consulting projects effectively and in parallel;
- Strong analytical aptitude, excellent Excel skills
- Proven track record of delivery of timely, profitable and high-quality projects
- Proven experience in developing effective working relationships with clients and potential clients
- Ability to think strategically and prioritise potential business development activities
